(Sigh), yes my friends I'm afraid its true, this is indeed the end of live-action Jay and Silent Bob. But seriously, what a way to go out! This movie drops the serious theme carried along in Chasing Amy and Dogma and returns to the classic "weed, dick, and fart jokes" of Clerks and Mallrats. Despite the tragic loss of Jay and Bob, do not fear askewers Kevin Smith has come to the rescue once again, in the form of the short-lived but amazingly funny animated series Clerks and in a possible Clerks animated movie. In the mean time, look forward to his new "Jay-and-Silent-Bob-less" movies, the first of which is Jersey Girl, set to come out in February 2004.

When best buddies Jay and Silent Bob discover that a major motion picture is being based on their likenesses, they head for Hollywood to claim the big movie money they desrerve. But when the dopey duo learn that they've been cut out of the cash, they set out to sabotage the flick at all costs! Jay and Silent Bob's raucous cross-country road trip is a crash course in the rules of the road with a nonstop assortment of outrageous characters that will have you laughing out loud!

A Flick Like No Other
This movie is a very inside flick. In order to understand it in its entirety, you must first see the other four New Jersey Chronicles (Clerks, Mallrats,Chasing Amy, and Dogma). Some might disagree with this saying it could be understood by anyone, I believe however, that doing this will allow you to understand all of the jokes, and more deeply appreciate the movie. Anyway, if you are too lazy and queer to watch the other four, then you can always view the "How It All Connects" page, and I'll explain it all to your thick skull!
